“I come from a farming family, where my grandparents lived a life deeply rooted in sustainability. Theirs was a way of living that was carbon-neutral and gentle on the earth long before those words became fashionable. We ate from banana leaves, brushed with neem sticks and charcoal, wrapped earthen pots in damp burlap to keep our water cool, and cooked fresh every day, with no need for a refrigerator. Those memories shaped my understanding of what a mindful way of living can be.

After graduating in engineering, I joined the automotive industry, where I saw how innovation could solve complex environmental challenges at scale. It reinforced the quiet brilliance of my grandparents’ way of life and made me wonder why fashion couldn’t evolve in the same way.

For years, I felt there was a gap in the market. On one side was fast fashion—trendy, exciting, and accessible, but too often made from synthetic, plastic-based materials with little regard for longevity. On the other was sustainable fashion, which, while well-intentioned, often felt outdated or lacked the contemporary design language that modern women wanted to wear.

The Mrch Muse was born to bridge that gap. My vision is to create clothing that feels current, elevated, and fashion-forward while being thoughtfully made using better fabrics that are kinder to both the planet and the people who wear them. I believe sustainability should never require compromising on style, and beautiful design should never come at the expense of conscious choices.

I started The Mrch Muse because I wanted to create the kind of clothes I was always searching for—pieces that feel contemporary, beautifully made, and good to wear in every sense. We work with better fabrics, choosing natural fibres wherever possible and innovative materials developed with both people and the planet in mind. Every collection is an effort to prove that fashion doesn’t have to be made from plastic to feel modern, and that making thoughtful choices shouldn’t mean giving up on great design.
